Farmers, foresters and land managers
Free of charge to farmers, foresters and land managers and £40 + VAT to others.
A practical workshop on a hill farm looking at effective ways of treating fluke and worms. It will cover diagnosis, control, different treatments, and pasture management. Can you change things to improve health and productivity, and maybe even save a bit of cash?
Practical demonstrations will show the principles in action – with handling, weighing, and faecal egg counts.
There will also be a look at how wader scrapes affect fluke management, and you’ll get a chance to have your questions answered by our expert speakers, Harriet Wishart, Jenna Kyle, John Holland and Davy McCracken from SRUC, and Philip Skuce and Fiona Kenyon from the Moredun, at lunchtime.
If you’re a farmer, grower or land manager, book your free place now: it’s open to all but we’re expecting this session to fill up quickly, and booking is absolutely essential. Use this online form, or if you prefer you can call Jane on 0131 666 2474, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll give you exact venue details when you book.
If you aren't a farmer, grower or landmanager, your place will be charged at £40 + VAT - please call Jane on 0131 666 2474, or email email@example.com to arrange with us rather than using this online form.
