Moredun Sheep and Cattle Health and Welfare Day

Thursday 09 January 2020
Event location:

Harper Adams University, Western Lecture Theatre

Booking information:

Please join us for another informative day with scientists from the Moredun Research Institute, staff of Harper Adams and our sponsor MSD Animal Health.

Many of the vaccines, diagnostic tests and disease control strategies used on livestock farms today have been developed at Moredun, which is at the forefront of livestock disease prevention and control.

Over recent years Moredun have produced some excellent animations to improve our understanding of the key features of some of the most challenging endemic diseases (sheep scab, BVD, roundworms and liver fluke) and these will be shown throughout the day alongside practical demonstrations. Please join us for an update on key diseases and to learn more about keeping cattle and sheep healthy to improve the sustainability of UK livestock.

  • Please attend for the whole day or just the parts that interest you.
  • You will need to register online in advance. Registration closes on Monday 6 January 2020.
