Farmers, vets, SQPs and others interested in livestock health
Free event - no booking required
Both Johne's disease and cryptosporidiosis can have a major impact on the health and welfare of your cattle and can result in significant financial loss at the farm level. A free evening meeting, designed to help farmers and vets achieve more effective control of these diseases will be held at Macclesfield Rugby Club on Monday 7 November.
At this meeting Frank Katzer and Karen Stevenson from Moredun will outline what is known about these diseases, from biology to diagnosis. They will then go on to describe how both Johne’s disease and cryptosporidiosis can be controlled on farm and the measures farmers can take to help minimise losses and protect health and welfare.
Admission is FREE and open to all.
This meeting is an accrediated AMTRA SQP CPD event and is worth 12 points.
