Lilian Haire

Lilian Haire is the Human Resources Manager for the Moredun Group. She qualified as a Clinical Scientist (Medical Microbiology) in 1984 before working in Bacteriology and Virology labs in the NHS in Glasgow and Portsmouth for 7 years. 

Following a career break at home with her two sons she returned to studying and undertook a degree and post-graduate diploma in Human Resources Management.  She initially worked in the University of Stirling, managing the HR aspects of the transfer of Nursing and Midwifery education in Forth Valley and the Highlands and Western Isles to the University of Stirling.  Beyond that she managed the transfer of Moray House to the University of Edinburgh and was the HR Manager for the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh for 7 years.

Lilian also worked in HR in the NHS in the Acute Medicine Division in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and in Forensic Mental Health at the State Hospital, Carstairs before being appointed as the Human Resource Manager at Moredun in April 2009.  Her responsibilities cover all aspects of training and development, people management and payroll for the Moredun Group.  She is now a Fellow of the Corporate Institute of Personnel and Development.
