Malignant Catarrhal Fever (MCF)

Malignant catarrhal fever (MCF), a sporadic disease of cattle, caused in the UK by ovine herpesvirus 2. The Moredun VSU runs a real time PCR test for OvHV-2 and can test for other MCF associated herpesviruses on request.
