Diagnostic Services
Moredun Scientific run a range of diagnostic assays to support our Animal Health clients including virus isolation, antibody ELISA ,serum neutralisation tests (SNT), real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assays and parasitology assays. The assays can be conducted as part of a regulatory study as required.

Commercial assays: the portfolio of assays available to our clients can be extended through the use of commercially available assays for all species of livestock, e.g. Blue tongue, Coronavirus, Rotavirus as required.
Custom assay development and validation: our experienced staff can provide a custom assay development service to meet your specific requirements.
Immunohistochemistry analysis: our service uses polyclonal antibodies on tissue sections from post-mortem samples from livestock infected with various pathogenic viruses, bacteria and parasites.
